Assignments For Week 1

Great first class guys! I'm really looking forward to seeing what God does among us. Here are the assignments for this week:

1. Prepare testimonies

a. Keep to 3 mins

i. Emphasize positive aspects

1. Redemption

2. Forgiveness

3. Salvation

4. New Life

ii. De-emphasize negative aspects

1. Do not spend a lot of time on things before conversion

2. Assignments:

a. Prepare a paper on 6^th article of SoF

i. Using resources

b. Give a snapshot of who Apollos is

Please keep in mind our general guidelines:
The paper on the Statement of Faith (SoF) should be the first things you do
You will start your Apollos work by using "Strong's"
Let the research be a joy andn not a burden

One other item, The SoF on the WBF web site is the current WBF SoF. For class, we will be using the proposed SoF that was distributed Sunday morning. It's a far better document and a bit more of a challenge but it will keep you and your work current with what is happening in the church.
