Assignments Due for Session 2

These assignments will be due on Oct 25 for the men and Nov 1 for the ladies:

• Prepare a paper on Article 1 of the Statement of Faith (SoF), using the sample paper in your syllabus as a guide and template. You are welcome to borrow freely from that paper. This exercise is designed to get you familair with the form and structure of your papers. 
• Prepare your own paper on Article 2 of the SoF, using your resources. Feel free to use any of the online resources you see to the right of this blog posting. Take a look at the online SoF with Scripture references. It can be a big help.
• Prepare a written personal testimony of your salvation. 
• Your testimony should not take longer than 3 minutes.
• It should emphasize:
• Redemption
• Forgiveness
• Salvation
• New Life
• God's work in your heart and soul
• It should de-emphasize
• Negative aspects of your life before Christ
• Read the Canons of Dort, articles 1-9
