Assignments Due for Session 4

Session 4 will be on Nov 29 for the Men and December 6 for the Women. Here are the assignments due then:

1. Words & Phrases
Using Charts,  Strong’s, Vine’s, Smith’s Bible Dictionary and Nave’s Topical Bible to define the following; limit your definitions to two paragraphs:

          Sovereignty

          Repentance

          Election

2. Prepare a paper on Statement of Faith Article 4: Jesus Christ (& Article 5 over the break)

3. Meditate on your Personal Scripture Passage - Begin to identify key words.

4. Reading assignment: The Canons of Dort, 2nd Main Point – All Articles,  3rd Main Point  - Articles 1-5

Provocation and Reason:
Here are three aspects on the nature of man:
Posse Pecarre - the ability to sin
Posse Nonpecarre - the ability not to sin
Nonposse pecarre - not able to sin
