Apollos X Is Coming! An Invitation to join us.
We are about to begin the 2014 session of Apollos, Apollos X.
Classes will start on Oct 10, 7:30 PM for the men and on Oct 17, 7:30 PM for the women. We'll alternate weeks thereafter with short breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year. Classes will run through the last week in January for the men and the first week in February for the women. I am honored to be one of the teachers again this year, along with Elder Peter Ristau and his wife, Lois.
There will be two orientation classes offered prior to the beginning of class. The First one will be Sat. morning, Sep. 28 at 8 AM. The second one will be Sunday, Sep. 29 at 1 PM, right after the second service. You can attend either. If neither class fits your schedule, let us know and we'll be happy to make arrangements to meet with you individually.

During orientation, we will have the syllabus on hand, the resources (hard copy and web-based) and provide an overview of the class, discussing homework expectations and study methods. We'll also hand out the very first assignment to those who decide to attend class (it's an easy one, designed to get you familair with the first few of your new resources).
There is a nominal charge for class, In addition to that will be the cost of the books, if you decide to go in that direction. Easy payment plans can be arranged if there are budget concerns. Our primary goal is to get you involved in class, we can work on the fees any way you find comfortable. In some cases, scholarships may be available.
Apollos is challenging, rewarding and (we hope) fun. It will provide you with the equipping you need to study the Scriptures in depth. It will also give you an in depth understanding of who WBF is, as a church.

We're excited to have offered this class for over 10 years. It is the cornerstone of our leadership development program and, we believe, a valuable tool for life and the study of our faith. One of our great joys is to usher a group of people through these materials, watching them grow in the knowledge of the word and in their fascination in our great God.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I can be reached at kuvakas@gmail.com
Blessings & Peace,
jk
